Public Works Depot Drop Off Regulations

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor continues to encourage its citizens to utilize the Public Works Drop Off depot on Bayley Street on Saturdays, from 8:00am-4:00pm.

Citizens are reminded that, due to the large increase in usage, the following will not be accepted at the Drop Off:

-Household Hazardous Waste materials (next HHHW Day is Oct. 31)
-Tires (they can be dropped off at respective retail outlets)
-Propane Tanks
-Concrete and gravel
-Shingles
-Commercial Construction Waste

Appliances are acceptable; however Freon must be removed. Trees and small shrubs are also accepted, but must be cut in 5 foot lengths, tied in bundles, and weigh no more than 50 lbs.

All leaves and grass must be dropped off at the Town Compost Facility on Scott Avenue.

This is a Residential Drop off and Commercial drop off is not permitted.
