Capital Works Projects
The Town of Grand Falls – Windsor is currently undertaking major capital works projects in the town, which are being cost shared by the Federal and Provincial Governments and the Town of Grand Falls - Windsor. Approximately thirty streets are being upgraded and resurfaced. This work is now in progress and the budget for this project is 1.3 million dollars.
Work has also been done on drainage improvements, new water line and landscaping for approximately $500,000.00.
Consultants have been hired to evaluate our Water Treatment Plant and complete a study to correct low water pressure in some areas of town. Our budget for these projects is 1.3 million.
Tenders have been called for renovations to the Windsor Stadium and a tender has also been awarded for a storage building for the Town Depot.
